Questions, answered
Is RunPlan safe for complete beginners?
Yes — that's the point. Tell it you've never run before and your plan starts with run/walk intervals, keeps at least two rest days a week, and never increases weekly volume by more than about 10%. That said, RunPlan is general fitness information, not medical advice: check with a doctor before starting any training program.
Which races can I train for?
5K, 10K, and half marathon, with plans from 4 to 20 weeks and 2 to 6 running days per week.
What does the free plan include?
One full personalized training plan with complete workout tracking. Pro ($5/month) adds unlimited plans, regeneration when your schedule changes, and calendar export.
Can I change my plan after it's generated?
Pro members can regenerate a fresh plan any time — update your fitness level, race, weeks, or training days and rebuild. Your old plans stay in your history.
How does the AI build the plan?
We send your fitness level, goal race, timeframe, and weekly availability to Claude (Anthropic's AI) with strict coaching rules: gradual volume build-up, mandatory rest days, cutback weeks, and a taper before race day. Every plan is validated against those safety rules before you see it.
Can I cancel Pro?
Any time, in two clicks, from your account page via Stripe's billing portal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
